INGREDIENTS
Preparation
- 2–3 lbs chicken wings
- 1 tbsp your favorite BBQ rub
- ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
PB&J Sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup jam (grape or strawberry work best)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp hot honey
Finish
- 1 tsp garlic powder
WHY IT WORKS
- Dry rub and a kiss of smoke give it a savory backbone that plays nice with the sweet sauce.
- PB & J glaze: peanut butter goes silky, jam brings the sweet, soy and hot honey sneak in the salty-heat.
TIPS
- Pat wings completely dry before oiling for maximum crispiness.
