Well- the lid part was totally my fault. Lost my balance and caught myself on that lid while it was burning.... Ordered the insulating blanket (which arrived today) for avoiding another burn and to have use of it during the cold NE Ohio winters. Highly recommend that blanket! Everything was great! The grill came packaged well keeping item from being damaged upon delivery. The smoker worked flawlessly for a full 24 hr cook. Temperatures remained consistent. The only issue I rant into upon construction was ONE threaded rivet where the hopper auger attached to the main body of the smoker boxer was stripped as well as bent. Initially things got off to a bumpy start. My grill was damaged in shipping. I reached out to customer service via email and provided the necessary evidential pictures. They quickly sent out the replacement parts. Once the parts came in I was able to put it together for its first use. That is when I realized one of the replacement parts was a slightly different color than the rest of the grill(dark silver as opposed to black). Not gonn a lie, the packaging was on point co sideri g our delivery services and how brutal they can be. Assembly was a breeze, just wish the print was bigger for us old blind people. Got the burn i. Done a couple of days ago and now im cooking some ribs and baked beans. App is working quite nice and the temperature is mai ting set point. All in all a great grill so far. Never do a perfect review off the rip, have to see if there are any bugs after a few uses.

Amazing!!!

I’m a first time smoker. It has been fantastic. The ribs I did were amazing. The second cook I did was steak. I smoked it until medium rare then reversed seared them. They were in the top 2 steaks I’ve ever had. It may be the number one, but it’s hard to say some the other steak was enjoyed several years ago. The chicken thighs were the best I’ve ever had. I’m excited to do a brisket and some other larger cuts. I would suggest the Z Grill to anyone!!! Thank you for a great product.
