Yes — 100%. All Z Grills Wi-Fi models work perfectly without a Wi-Fi or App connection. The grill's physical controller handles everything locally. When setting up the device for the first time, you must connect to Wi-Fi and enable Bluetooth on your phone.
Wi-Fi and the App are optional conveniences that allow you to monitor and adjust your cook remotely. They do not affect the core functionality of the grill.

The Thermostat were spot on, I checked it against my separate Bluetooth thermostat. Ribs came out with just the right amount of smoke and cooked perfectly. I have told all my friends to look into this.

Shipping ProtectionThe purchasing of this Z Grill was seamless. Correspondence from support was adequate at best. There was the promise of notifications from the driver. None appeared. There was no prior notification on grill arrival. Just a vague date a day before hand with no estimated time. When I noticed the driver dropping off this 176 Lb grill in front of my garage I got there in just enough time to have him put it inside the garage. Assembly was pretty easy. It also fired up great. I only wish is that they had an assembly option for the grill. Not impossible to put together but very tedious as I get older. Love the crowdsourcing option.
