How It Works — Step by Step

  • Hopper: You fill the side hopper with 100% hardwood pellets.
  • Auger: A motorized screw feeds pellets from the hopper into the fire pot at a controlled rate.
  • Fire pot: An ignition rod inside the fire pot ignites the pellets.
  • Fan: An induction fan provides oxygen to the fire and circulates heat and smoke throughout the cooking chamber.
  • Heat baffle and drip tray: The drip tray deflects direct flame and collects grease, giving you indirect convection cooking rather than direct flame contact.
  • Controller: A digital PID controller monitors the cooking chamber temperature and automatically adjusts the auger feed rate and fan speed to maintain your set temperature.
The result: set your temperature, load your food, and walk away. The grill manages itself, so no babysitting is required.
