Here is a quick framework to find your ideal model.
Step 1: How Many People Do You Usually Cook For?
| Models | Burgers | Ribs | Chickens | Household Size |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 450 SERIES | 18 | 4 | 3 | ~2–4 people |
| 600 SERIES | 24 | 5 | 4 | ~3–5 people |
| 700 SERIES | 29 | 6 | 5 | ~6–8 people |
| Multitasker 7052B | 30 | 6 | 5 | ~7–9 people |
| 1000 SERIES | 43 | 9 | 7 | ~6–8 people |
| Multitasker 11002B | 68 | 12 | 10 | ~8–12 people |
Step 2: Do You Want App / WiFi Control?
If yes, choose from the WiFi Series (700D4E, 1000D4E, 7002C2E, 10502B) or Multitasker Series (11002B, 7052B). Standard models work great without an app, and you can upgrade if you need it in the future.
Step 3: Do You Want Direct Flame Searing?
Pellet grills use indirect cooking by default, which is great for smoking and roasting.
See the direct searing guide: How to Sear on a Pellet Grill — Direct Flame & High Heat (By Model).
Step 4: Do You Grill in Cold Climates?
If you often cook in cold weather below 40°F / 4°C, a well-insulated grill will hold temperature better and use fewer pellets.
Our Multitasker 7052B and 11002B models feature double-wall insulation, which improves heat retention and reduces pellet consumption in low temperatures.
We also offer additional models with dual-wall insulated bases for better cold-weather performance, including the 700D, 700D2E, 700D3, 700D6, 700D7, and 700D4E.
