Manual Feed allows the auger to feed pellets directly into the firepot on demand, instead of following the automatic temperature-controlled feed cycle.This function is particularly useful for boosting smoke output when you want richer, more intense wood-fired flavor, or when you need to quickly establish a steady fire during startup.

WiFi Models (700D4E, 1000D4E, 7002C2E, 10502B) and 11002B/7052B Multitasker.
Non-WiFi Models (450A/450A2/450B/450E/550B2/550B4/600D2/700D3/700D6/700D7/7002C/7002C3E）
How to Use It
Press and hold the Feed button → The auger runs and feeds extra pellets into the firepot.
Release the button → The grill goes back to automatic temperature‑controlled feeding.
Important:
Do not use Manual Feed too often. Too many pellets can overflow the firepot, cause too much smoke, or make the temperature jump too high.
Best time to use it:
After you open the lid and the temperature drops. Feed for 1–3 minutes, this helps the grill heat back up faster.
