The Ash Cleanout feature lets you remove ash from the inside of your grill quickly and easily — no need to disassemble the grill or use a shop vacuum. The design varies slightly by model.

All other Z Grills models require manual ash removal using a shop vacuum or scoop directly from the firepot. See "How to Clean the Ash" in Cleaning & Maintenance.
💡 Even on models with ash cleanout, vacuum the firepot area every 3–5 cooks for best performance. Ash buildup depends on pellet quality and the length of each cook.
