CAST IRON GRIDDLE FOR 700 SERIES

Cast Iron Griddle
Great product, would buy again.
Like having an outdoor griddle
This griddle gets really hot. Fits my 700 perfectly. Did smash burgers first, they were great. The 700 was set at 375 F, the surface of the griddle was at 631 F with and IR thermometer. Cleans up nice. Was a nice nice addition to my outdoor cooking.
Great results from the first time
Great product that produces great results.
Works good but it would be nice if there was something to catch all the grease
Used for the first time and the BBQ Plate did a fantastic job.
Love the Grill
My wife and l love our ZGrill. We also have the thermal blanket and now we are using it year round. We make everything from smoking pork butts to bread pudding on ours. It is a great value compared to other pellet grills.
My new ZGrill !
Used it for the first time! Wow! So much better then my old one! The ribs came out with a great smoke! Thanks Z
Extremely impressed by the cast iron griddle and how hot it can get. Made some smash burgers for the family and it worked like a charm!
The set up was easy and took about an hour. I've used it once but smoked a pork butter and then some grilled broccoli and green beans. Next day a breakfast casserole and all of it was great!! I can see this will make my smoking much simpler and have a consistent outcome. Money well spent!!
Great Tool for Grilling Steaks and Burgers.
The grill plate works far better than I expected. I love my Z-Grill for smoking and roasting meat. I can grill vegetables. But it was cooking steaks and hamburgers too slowly. I was considering buying a charcoal grill in addition, but then I saw the cast iron BBQ plate and I purchased it. This solved the problem. It is easy to use—remove the grills, the grease shelf and the heat deflector, then place the plate from front-to-back on the grill brackets right over the fire box. Start the grill. In short order the plate is 550 degrees. Grill your meat (fast) and enjoy it. It did seem odd on my first use that over half the space in the Z-Grill is not covered by the plate and that my hands were sometimes over the rising heat. I got used to this promptly and I am no more likely to burn my hands than on any other grill. I heat the plate with the door closed after the first starts. This heats the plate quickly and the thermometer in the grill gives me an indication that the plate is hot when it gets to 450. Then I open the door and grill the meat. 2 minutes puts good grill marks on the meat on the ribbed side. Flip for 2 minutes and the other side is branded. Flip and turn 90 degrees and the first side gets a cross-hatch in 2 minutes. Flip and the second side gets its cross-hatch after 2 more minutes. A thick, half-pound, Prime burger is done to Medium in 8 minutes in 80 degree weather. A great feature is that the plate has a raised rim on both sides to catch the fat. This works and keeps the inside of the grill from getting a mess of grease and ash in it. I’ve been wanting to make pancakes on it some morning, just to say I have...
