I had one of my Z-Grills meat probes die (damaged cord) so ordered a pair of them. These probes have a thicker wire than the original ones (still have one of the originals) and it appears to be a little heavier duty than the original. I used it on my next smoke and it worked perfectly

Right out of the box, assembly was easy and fired right up. The temperature control was accurate and it consistently maintained the set temperature. No issues whatsoever. I've had 3 cooks down and all have been flawless.

It’s a no for me

3 smokes done and so far have only been able to taste faintest amounts of smoke on meat… most recent was a 14 hour brisket. Have tried a different brand of pellet each time. Timing is off or something- I see smoke for roughly a minute then nothing for a minute. The hopper holds approx 10 lbs of pellets, but design requires that pellets need to be assisted towards the actual auger inlet, especially once about 1/3 remain or risk no pellets entering and heat dropping significantly.
