ALL THE ESSENTIALS. BUILT FOR VALUE.

Essential features. Legendary performance. Praised by Forbes, CNET, and more.

Z Grills is one of the new high-tech do-it-all pellet smokers that is perfect for traditional BBQ but also grills, bakes, roasts, braises, and sears, and does all of these easily

There has been some online musing that Z Grills could be a Traeger killer (Traeger being the biggest name in pellet grills) by offering solid equipment at much lower cost. I found it to be just that.

This grill exceeded my expectations in terms of accuracy and temperature swing.

It’s a wood pellet grill that can both smoke and sear, making it one of the most efficient backyard grills available.

Rock-Solid Precision. Effortless Control

Our industry leading PID 3.1 controller automatically adjusts heat to maintain your set temperature within just 5°F — ensuring rock-solid precision and consistently perfect results, every time. It heats up fast and stays steady, even with the lid open or in cold weather. From quick weeknight meals to slow-smoked feasts, perfect grilling has never been easier — no guesswork, just great results.

Manual Feed Feature

Manual feed system helps the grill heat up faster and brings the grill back up to temperature quickly after opening the lid.

Quick Flavor Changes. Easy Cleanup

Quickly and easily switch flavors or collect unused pellets all at once. The built-in hopper cleanout lets you empty your hopper with ease — no hassle, no mess.

Grease Management System

Our slotted grease pan funnels grease into a bucket for an easy, hassle-free cleanup.

SmokeZone™: Boost The Smoky Flavor

Between 160–200°F, hardwood pellets smolder to create rich, steady smoke. At 180°F, smoke flavor peaks—perfect for developing bark and smoke rings.
