ER2 will appear if the grill is turned on when the temperature dial is not set to the Shut Down Cycle. To clear the error, follow these steps:
- Turn off the power switch.
- Rotate the dial to the Shut Down Cycle.
- Turn the power switch back on.
- Rotate the dial to the Smoke setting to start the grill as usual.
If ER2 keeps showing up during normal operation after doing the above troubleshooting, there could be an issue with the power switch on the controller, and the controller may need to be replaced. Please contact our Support Team for a new controller.
