The following are explicitly excluded from the Z Grills 3-year warranty:
- Paint and exterior finish — Discoloration, peeling, and paint chips from high heat exposure are considered normal wear and are not covered.
- Fire pot — The fire pot is a consumable part that degrades over time due to heat cycling. Replacement fire pots are available in the parts store.
- Grill grates, drip tray, and heat baffle — These are normal wear items. They can be ordered as replacement parts.
- Rust — Surface rust caused by improper storage, failure to use a cover, or neglecting maintenance is not covered.
- Damage from misuse — Using the grill as a fire pit, improper assembly, unauthorized modifications, or using non-food-grade pellets.
- Damage from power surges — Electrical damage not caused by a manufacturing defect.
- Grill cover — Grill covers are not covered under our warranty.
- Natural Disasters — Damage to the grill caused by natural disasters and handle detachment is not covered under the warranty.
- Power cord chewed by animals.
